Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Driller to join our team at ETS Infrastructure Management. As a key member of our site investigation team, you will be responsible for operating drilling equipment and conducting site investigations in and around Cairns, Townsville, and regional Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mobilize and operate heavy vehicles and plant equipment
  • Liaise with clients and coordinate crew activities
  • Set up and operate drilling rigs, including rotary mud, diamond coring, and augering
  • Conduct testing and sampling, and maintain a clean and safe worksite
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Adhere to company safety and environmental policies
Requirements
  • Cert III in Drilling Operations (driller)
  • General Induction (White Card)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
  • Experience on Comacchio drilling rigs (highly desirable)
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory or operational role on a geotechnical drill rig
  • Physical ability to work long days and perform physically demanding tasks
  • RIW Card (highly desirable)
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude towards hard work and on-site challenges
  • Good driving record
