The Operations department plays a vital role in supporting Rabobank's business goals by handling the manual processing of payments & settlements totalling billions of dollars.

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Operations team in Sydney, who can develop & implement short, medium & long-term Operations strategies aligned with global & local requirements.

This includes collaborating with product teams to define & deliver the payments strategic roadmap across all business lines & actively participating in global, regional & local meetings / conferences as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Operations budget & allocating resources to ensure performance targets are met.

Main Skills & Qualifications:
  • 15+ years' experience in banking & finance, with a strong focus on operations.
  • Proven experience in senior management positions including holding a Responsible Manager role under RG 146.
  • A solid understanding of risk management within the financial services industry & related regulatory standards (Basel, APRA & Reserve Bank of New Zealand Standards).
