Job Description

The role is responsible for managing compliance, AML, sanctions and financial crime risks across various business units. The incumbent will provide sound advice and support to Senior Compliance Officers and Head of Legal & Compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing timely assistance and advice on regulatory and compliance requirements;
  • Maintaining close watch on AML/CTF, sanctions and financial crime regulations and issues;
  • Developing and implementing required frameworks, processes and tools to comply with new/revised regulatory requirements;
  • Conducting compliance reviews and risk assessments of business areas;
  • Implementing screening processes including transaction monitoring program that comply with applicable requirements;
  • Analysing data sets and transaction enquiries to identify trends and typologies;
  • Investigating potential unusual activities and preparing suspicious matter reports where required;
  • Assessing system performance and identifying system issues;
  • Implementing tools to mitigate regulatory and compliance risks;
