This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families affected by family violence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop safety plans for victim/survivors and their children.
- Engage with victim/survivors and their children to provide support and connect them with relevant services.
- Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure a coordinated response to family violence.
- Provide education and training to staff and the community on family violence and its impact.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Experience working with victim/survivors and their children who have experienced family violence.
- High level of understanding of the gendered nature of family violence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
