System Security Specialist

Key Role Summary

Our company seeks a System Security Specialist to help customers achieve online security and peace of mind by developing strategic plans for enterprise-wide deployments of our telco/carrier and/or cloud security solutions. This is a challenging opportunity to showcase your technical expertise and drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Presents Fortinet carrier and cloud security solutions to customers, adapting presentation style to suit the audience.
  • Serves as the pre-sales technical escalation resource on sales calls, educating customers on features, specifications, and functionality.
  • Works closely with Systems Engineers and Account Managers to maximize business focus, leading technical resources in enterprise accounts.
  • Develops technical account plans to achieve goals and exceed quota responsibility.
  • Provides support to product management to drive new products and innovations.
  • Facilitates workshops and training modules to increase customers/partners knowledge of Fortinet products.
  • Supports and works through the entire process of sales, workshops, RFI/RFQ, and PoC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in technical/pre-sales support as a Sales/Systems Engineer or Consultant.
  • Deep technical understanding of Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer.
  • Good technical understanding of 4G mobile network, including its various network functions from RAN, backhaul, to the core network, plus their security challenges and mitigations.
  • Experience in 4G Mobile Network Security solutions, such as Security Gateway, Roaming Firewall, CGNAT, and Internet Firewall.
  • Good technical understanding of 5G mobile network, including its evolution from 4G, major use cases, its various network functions from RAN, front haul, backhaul, to core network, their security challenges and mitigations.
  • Knowledge in 5G Mobile Network Security solutions, such as Security Gateway, Roaming Firewall, CGNAT, and Internet Firewall, API Gateway, SBA security, cloud native Kubernetes security, AI/ML-based security analytics and mitigations.
  • Strong understanding of essential IPv4 and IPv6 protocols: TCP, UDP, ICMP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, DNS, NTP.
  • Self-motivated and creative attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available to undertake regular domestic and international travel (typically APAC region).
