About the Role

Viatris is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Team on a fixed-term secondment for 12 months. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance of our plant and equipment to optimize operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine checks and cleaning of plant, rooms, and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Perform deep cleaning of the Machine Shop and Workshop on a regular basis.
  • Support the Maintenance Store, including forklift operations, to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks across the site, as directed by the SAP PM Maintenance Management System.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records for all activities.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest relevant standards, adhering to company policies, SOPs, GMP, and health and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a motivated and engaged workforce through effective communication, participation, and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain the required level of skill and competencies relevant to your job role and development.
About You
  • You have a keen eye for spotting small issues before they escalate into larger problems.
  • You possess strong collaboration skills, working effectively with maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams.
  • You can prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production.
  • You are committed to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a hazard-free work environment.
  • You have proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
  • You can maintain good client relations and service efficiency.
