We're currently seeking an experienced Procurement Portfolio Manager to join our exciting journey of growth and innovation. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for our Ingredients category. Your focus will be on creating sustainable value for our business through strategic sourcing approaches that align with our core values and objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Execute Strategic Procurement Plans: Create and implement effective procurement strategies that drive short-term and long-term impacts, ensuring supply continuity while supporting our commitment to sustainability.
  2. Drive Value Creation: Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier partnerships, all while maintaining alignment with customer needs.
  3. Build Strong Relationships: Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance business partnering and supplier connectivity.
  4. Support Continuous Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency within the Ingredients category.
  5. Manage Category Portfolios: Oversee assigned categories, addressing projects and issues in consultation with key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  6. Oversee Spending and Performance: Monitor grain and yeast category spending, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and optimizing business outcomes.

About You:

  • Proven Experience: At least 5 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to packaging industries.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: In-depth understanding of supply chain mechanics, manufacturing, and design's impact on commercial outcomes.
  • Sourcing and Contracting: Solid background in strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management, and procurement reporting.
