About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing retail team as our Store Manager. This role is pivotal in driving the success of our new store through effective leadership, operational excellence and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail team and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Coach retail staff on effective selling and customer service skills.
  • Tuesday to Saturday availability is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Assistant Store Manager (or similar) in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Previous experience in Optical background is preferred.
  • Experience with staff scheduling, supervising other retail staff and delivering on-site training.
  • Able to demonstrate the skill of building meaningful and long-term relationships with customers.
  • Collaborative and consultative team-work and leadership style.

Benefits:

  • $65,000 - $85,000 per annum salary range based on location and experience.
