Job Opportunity: Area Supervisor

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced area supervisor to lead and shape the future of out-of-school hours care services in Northwest Sydney.

About the Role:

  • Oversee operations of multiple services, working alongside a dedicated team of passionate educators and leaders.
  • Lead and mentor educators to deliver programs that enhance children's learning, development, and well-being.
  • Monitor care quality, conduct regular assessments, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Build strong connections with families, stakeholders, and the community to ensure inclusive service delivery.
  • Implement strategies to continuously improve service quality and outcomes for children.
  • Oversee daily service management, including staffing, resources, and logistics.
  • Coordinate safe and engaging activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and professional development support to the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma in School Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • 4+ years of experience as an area supervisor overseeing multiple centres and managing diverse teams.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites / services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance, self-assessment, and quality improvement processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis management certificates.
  • Commitment to the philosophy and values of not-for-profit organisations.
