Job Title: Associate Privacy Specialist
\At ResMed, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Associate Privacy Counsel to support our mission to improve the quality of life of our patients, customers, and partners.
\The successful candidate will provide first-class support to our product owners, business functions, and internal clients by analyzing products and initiatives to provide practical legal support, risk mitigation, and privacy risk assessment with a global and customer-centric mindset.
\Responsibilities include working as part of a global privacy team to ensure compliance with applicable laws and privacy-by-design principles, establishing and maintaining working relationships with internal stakeholders, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements and privacy-related legal documents, and collaborating with other legal and privacy team members to offer consistent guidance on key areas that cross the organization.
\Requirements for this role include 2-4 years of relevant legal experience in-firm or in-house with a focus on privacy, a juris doctorate (J.D.) or equivalent degree in law, and one or more privacy certifications from recognized institutions.
