About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager - Engineering, you will lead a team and interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate the engineering technical aspects for complex projects. You will participate in project planning, proposal review, and own the engineering elements of capital estimates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the engineering activity on a medium-sized project.
  • Plan and direct engineering assignments on the project along with technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
  • Ensure the facilities are designed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner in accordance with policies and all applicable laws, regulations, authorization basis, codes, standards, and technical requirements.
  • Represent Engineering on the project and with the client to resolve technical questions, expedite procurements, coordinate construction interfaces.
  • Coordinate engineering effort with Project Manager, Procurement, Construction, Startup, Environmental Safety and Health (ES&H), and Project Controls.
  • Prepare and direct the preparation of project studies, reports, forecasts, special engineering reports, and plant data book.

Key Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree along with 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of close client secondment interaction, EPCM contract Management, and the Contractor and their subcontractor's responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of construction technologies & supervisory functions relating to field activities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety and Health (ES&H). Demonstrable commitment to a Zero Accident safety program or similar.
  • Proven customer relationship skills are essential.
