Senior Control Systems Engineer Role

As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects and travel internationally. Your expertise will be sought after to design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining and mineral processing projects.

This role is ideal for those who thrive in challenging environments and are eager to take on new challenges. You will have the chance to work independently on control system project work and provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Control System Design: Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining and mineral processing projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Technical Leadership: Take ownership of control system aspects within projects and develop, review, and approve project deliverables.
  • Documentation: Produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers and foster their professional growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • An Engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • A willingness and readiness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Experience in mining and mineral processing projects/operations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency to work independently on control systems project work.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
