Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Indie Campers is a mission-driven organization that aims to make road trips accessible to everyone. We are seeking skilled and passionate individuals to join our team as a campervan maintenance technician at our depot in Malaga.

As a campervan maintenance technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of campervans at the highest standards, ensuring our customers can embark on unforgettable journeys.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting systematic inspections of vehicles and diagnosing problems on mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including preventive and corrective maintenance, light bodywork repairs, and substitution of spare parts.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with external partners and coordinating the execution of vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.
  • Updating vehicle information systems according to established procedures and moving campervans to and from local vendors, parking facilities, or other depots.
  • Maintaining depot equipment and spare parts organized and clean and updating spare parts inventory systems at all times.

The ideal candidate will have education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical, or a similar program in the automotive industry, along with at least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, along with good communication skills.
