The ideal candidate will be experienced in planning menus, budgeting, and managing kitchen supplies. They will also possess strong knowledge of food safety standards and allergy-aware meal preparation. In addition, they should be able to work independently and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification with cooking experience is preferred. A valid Working with Children Check, Current First Aid Certificate, and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain) are also required.
