Job Description

This role is a critical component of our team, requiring individuals to respond to fire and emergency incidents with professionalism and effectiveness. As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be part of a collaborative effort to deliver high-quality fire, rescue, and emergency services throughout the region.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for operating specialist firefighting equipment, participating in regular drills and training sessions, and contributing to community education activities to promote safety and emergency preparedness.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to fire and emergency incidents in a timely and effective manner;
  • Participating in regular drills and training sessions to maintain and improve skills;
  • Contributing to community education activities to promote safety and emergency preparedness;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. You must also have a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn and develop your skills through ongoing training and professional development.

The following qualifications and certifications are required:

  • Australian Permanent Resident Status;
  • manual C Class driver's licence;
  • Employers written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable);
