About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geospatial Analyst to join our team at Geoscience Ireland. As a Senior Geospatial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our clients across various projects, utilizing your expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and manipulate large datasets, including spatial data, to support project deliverables.
- Develop and implement GIS solutions to address client needs, including data analysis, mapping, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS insights into project outcomes.
- Provide expert advice on GIS best practices, data management, and spatial analysis techniques.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our services.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in a consulting environment, with a strong background in GIS and spatial analysis.
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ESRI Pro, QGIS, and other GIS applications.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
