About the Role

Campaign Monitor, a fast-growing software company, is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to define, lead, and execute the technical strategy for our platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will shape the team structure, engineering processes, architecture, and contribute to the overall strategy of how we build amazing software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a technical strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of experienced engineers in building highly scalable, performant SaaS applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Operations, UX, and Product Management, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products.
  • Nurture and innovate a product with a long history, balancing sustaining activities with innovation and change.
  • Implement and adjust agile processes, such as XP, Scrum, and Kanban, to optimize team performance.
  • Make informed decisions about project prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Communicate technical vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing large teams of engineers building complex software applications.
  • Experience in managing people managers and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering processes.
  • Ability to create an environment where teams work together cohesively.
  • Experience working in Agile product development processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
