Welder Specialist

Job Description:

The Boilermaker/Welder is a skilled professional responsible for conducting fabrication and welding duties on time, in full, and to standard. They strive for continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct fabrication and welding duties as directed
• Understand and accept assigned tasks, completing within timeframe and budget
• Maintain ownership and respect for tools and equipment
• Assist in other trade-based sectors during periods of reduced specific works
• Implement and comply with all policies and procedures related to HSEQ

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade qualification in Welder/Fabricator, Boat builder or Boilermaker
• Previous experience in Boiler making/Welding in heavy industry
• Able to attain welding qualification to Survey Body level standard
• Demonstrate adequate theoretical knowledge
• Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade
