This role presents a unique chance to work autonomously, managing multiple tasks on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring construction work packages are executed safely and efficiently. If you have experience in the oil and gas or mining industry and possess the necessary technical competencies, we would like to hear from you.

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in determining construction readiness and issuing relevant documentation to contractors. Your primary objective will be to ensure field construction teams are set up for success by actively engaging with stakeholders on various matters, including safety, environmental concerns and cultural heritage.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Cultural Heritage First Disturbance Monitoring
  • Oversee ad hoc contract deliverable requirements
  • Prepare and issue Construction Award Notification (CAN) to contractors via Aconex
  • Maintain healthy relationships within the team and with contractors
  • Promote a healthy team culture
  • Report or escalate safety, environmental, cultural heritage and land access matters
  • Minimise the risk of construction or well online schedule delays
  • Challenge and improve standard practices and work methods
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance for planned ground disturbance execution
  • Comply with Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA)

Requirements:

  • Oil & gas or mining industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

  • Effective task management skills
