Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team in Brisbane or Dunedin, working on a maximum-term contract of 8 months.

As a key member of our payroll team, you will assist the Payroll Manager in delivering our NZ Payroll and be responsible for efficient and effective payroll processing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in New Zealand Payroll and possess strong Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our New Zealand payroll operations.
  • Assist with Australian monthly payroll operations as needed.
  • Work flexibly with the New Zealand time zone.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and communicate effectively with stakeholders across various departments.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • New Zealand Payroll experience.
  • Micropay experience highly desired.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Exceptional initiative-taking and self-motivation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work remotely and autonomously with the flexibility to come into the office when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $NZD 60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to reflect your skills and qualifications.
