Job Description

As a Dietitian Casual Pool member, you will provide short-term cover to sites and services across Hunter New England. This role offers flexibility, diversity, and the opportunity to network across teams.

The Dietitian Casual Pool provides consistent service to the community by offering diverse and complex caseloads across our district. You will have the potential to work in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, and across the lifespan.

  • Hunter Valley
  • Lower Mid-North Coast (including Taree and Forster)
  • Tamworth area
  • Armidale and Inverell areas
  • Narrabri and Moree areas
  • Greater Newcastle
About The Role

This casual pool is designed for individuals who want flexibility in their work schedule or are looking for a change of scenery. Whether you have additional days of availability or just want to investigate opportunities within Hunter New England, this role is ideal.

You will have the opportunity to work in diverse clinical areas and gain valuable experience in your field. As a casual staff member, you will communicate your availability and location preferences with us on a monthly basis.

  • Be committed to professional development, evidenced-based practice, and patient-centred care.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
