Automotive Technician

RAC Auto Services, one of the largest automotive businesses in Western Australia, invites applications for a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team at one of their Perth metro area centres.
The role offers a perfect blend of working hours, financial incentives, and benefits, making it an ideal career choice. As an Automotive Technician, the successful candidate will work in a dedicated bay, performing scheduled services and repairs on various types of light vehicles. They will also be responsible for mechanical and electrical diagnostics, logging and recording daily activities, and mentoring Mechanics and Apprentices.
The ideal candidate will possess a post-apprenticeship automotive technician qualification, experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostic skills. They will also require a C Class Manual Driving License and Motor Vehicle Repair Licence. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop positive workplace relationships are also essential.
The team will be led by the Team Leader, with the successful candidate working alongside 4 technicians, 4 apprentices, and a courtesy driver/detailer in the workshop, as well as 2 service advisors and an engaged and hands-on Service Manager.
