About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and organised Home Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to older Australians on the Sunshine Coast. As an integral part of our team, you will work independently to deliver home care support, assisting individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and domestic assistance
  • Provide transportation for clients to medical appointments and social activities
  • Monitor client health and well-being, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate action

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or similar qualification
  • Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a registered vehicle
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $36.88 + Super + 0.92 cents per kilometre
  • Salary packaging benefits: up to $15,900 tax-free per year
