As a key member of the TAFE Executive leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational delivery of student-focused teaching and learning areas within the Centre. Reporting to the Director, Skills and Education Delivery, this position will have a strong focus on achieving financial, customer, business process, and organisational capability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes for students;
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase student retention;
  • Lead and ensure compliance with ASQA standards, Skills First funding contract, and qualification regulatory requirements;
  • Manage projects with industry partners that deliver customised training solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive people and change management experience, with a strong ability to build high performing and accountable teams. They will have strong financial literacy and data analysis capability to inform decision making and drive accountability. Additionally, advanced planning, project management, and risk management capability, as well as a strong commitment to embracing new technology, are essential for this role.
