We are seeking a Retail Sales and Customer Service Expert to join our dynamic team at Beacon Lighting in Cairns. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our Trade Loyalty Program and expanding our Trade accounts.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, an energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the job, and a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a customer service environment is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert professional customer service to our retail and trade customers
  • Promoting and expanding our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts
  • Developing strong product knowledge to assist customers in making the best product choice
  • Achieving and exceeding personal sales targets
  • Supporting other team members to ensure business goals are met

This casual position offers the opportunity to contribute to our dynamic team, with an average workload of 15-20 hours per week, including some weekends. The role is designed to accommodate the needs of our business, allowing us to reach out to you as required, particularly during peak trading periods or to cover shifts when our existing team members are on leave.
