Paediatric Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at MediRecruit in North Sydney.
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and adolescents from 0-18 years with a variety of needs, including those on the autism spectrum, sensory processing difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties.
You will be part of a well-resourced clinic, working closely with families and teachers to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. You will participate in group sessions as a team and take a collaborative approach towards goal setting and report writing.
This is a highly flexible position, suitable for either full-time or part-time applicants, and we welcome both early career and senior OTs to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a paediatric caseload in a predominantly clinic-based environment
- Work with children and adolescents with a variety of needs, including those on the autism spectrum, sensory processing difficulties, physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning difficulties
- Collaborate with families and teachers to achieve the best outcomes for our clients
- Participate in group sessions as a team and take a collaborative approach towards goal setting and report writing
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Current membership with Occupational Therapy Australia
- Experience working with preschool and school children (desirable)
- Experience working with children with SPD, ASD, ADHD developmental delay and behavioural difficulties (desirable)
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient communication, organisational and computer skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Current drivers licence
- Working with Children Check
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
