Leadership Position for Trolley Collection and Cleaning Services

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to lead our trolley collection and cleaning services team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services to our customers and ensuring the stores are in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 10-40 members to collect trolleys from specific locations and complete daily tasks associated with store cleaning and waste services.
  • Develop leadership skills by delivering people-related activities for your team and partnering with stakeholders to achieve exceptional services.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to team members, developing their skills across trolley collection, cleaning, and waste support.
  • Set rosters to ensure coverage of daily tasks and operations list.
  • Work in partnership with Store Leadership teams to understand challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities.
  • Interact with customers, providing excellent customer service.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in supervisory or team leadership roles.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including working outdoors in various elements (e.g., shop floor, fridges, freezers, car parks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organisational skills to ensure equipment and consumables are available for safe and efficient work.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
  • Comfortable working within regulated frameworks (food safety, industrial regulations, code of conduct).
