
Senior Medical Imaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team in a senior role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medical imaging procedures to a high standard, ensuring diagnostic quality, and maintaining current knowledge of advanced ultrasound practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex clinical procedures with a high degree of competency.
- Ensure safety in the unit and maintain current knowledge of all advanced ultrasound practices.
- Evaluate and audit work quality, manage staff performance, and allocate staff to ensure service coverage.
- Establish clinical protocols, support Continuous Quality Improvement, and liaise with equipment specialists regarding maintenance and upgrades.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Radiographer.
- Post graduate experience in medical ultrasound with accreditation as a Sonographer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in the establishment of clinical protocols, quality assurance, and departmental Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex clinical procedures within specialist modality with a high degree of competency.
