About the Role

  • Key responsibilities include:

- Sustain and enhance high performance outcomes.

- Implement strategic and innovative approaches to curriculum, pedagogy and staff professional growth.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive improvement agenda that addresses equity and excellence.

- Foster a consistent approach to pedagogy to minimize variance in impacts.

- Lead the implementation of the Australian Curriculum Version 9 Mathematics and the QCAA Senior Mathematics Curricular.

- Support learning progression for all students within an inclusive framework.

- Collaborate with faculty based professional learning teams, coaches and mentors to build staff capability.

- Embed effective pedagogical practices through collaborative empowerment.

- Contribute to the development and ongoing review of the school's explicit improvement agenda.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership and Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement comprehensive improvement agendas.
  • Curriculum Design and Implementation: Expertise in designing and implementing curricula aligned with Australian Curriculum Version 9 Mathematics and QCAA Senior Mathematics Curricular.
  • Pedagogy and Staff Development: Strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices and ability to collaborate with faculty teams to build staff capability.
  • Equity and Excellence: Commitment to promoting equity and excellence in student learning outcomes.
