Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Systems Support professional to join our team at the Parliament of Australia. As a key member of our Finance Branch, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our HRIS applications, ensuring seamless payroll processing and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance core configuration and transports between environments in our HRIS Applications, including Establishments, personnel administration, time and attendance, and payroll definitions.
  • Drive continuous improvements and innovation across the ERP Application function, implementing existing or new functionality where applicable.
  • Triage and prioritise incoming work, performance, and training management, adapting to changing environments and leading through uncertainty.
  • Provide high-level written and verbal communication, creating and modifying targeted and complex messages for diverse audiences.
  • Build strong working relationships across multiple business areas and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders on payroll-related matters.
  • Experience in undertaking high-level analytical and problem-solving work with moderate complexity and sensitivity.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work culture.
  • Highly desirable: experience in HRIS systems, including SAP, SuccessFactors, and/or UKG (Kronos), as well as experience with SAP.
