About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join our team at EACH Victoria. As a key member of our Primary Care program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical and nursing services to vulnerable populations in the outer east region of Melbourne.

As a General Practitioner, you will provide medical expertise in the delivery of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care to women and those affirmed female at birth. You will work closely with our team of Refugee Health GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Bicultural workers to provide a multidisciplinary model of care that maximizes health outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical expertise in Sexual and Reproductive Health Care to women and those affirmed female at birth
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality medical and nursing services
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary model of care that maximizes health outcomes for our clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and community partners
Requirements
  • Fully qualified and vocationally registered General Practitioner with a fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
  • Registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
  • Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health certification
  • Medical Indemnity Insurance
  • Experience: 5+ years as a GP with expertise in sexual and reproductive health
  • Skills: Proficient in LARC management and complex pelvic pain
