About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Casual Personal Care Assistants at VMCH Mulgrave. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and care to residents according to their individual care plans and preferences
  • Apply person-centred care approaches to all interactions with residents
  • Consider residents' individual needs, stage of life, development, and strengths when engaging in support activities

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Previous experience working in an aged care facility
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
