Compliance Officer Role

This role involves leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance systems, frameworks, and practices across VCE and VET offerings.

  • Strategic direction: lead the development and operational implementation of compliance frameworks for VCE and VET delivery
  • Regulatory compliance: maintain ongoing compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including VCAA, ASQA, VRQA, and Skills First funding requirements
  • Institutional lead: serve as the institutional lead during internal and external audits and reviews, including ASQA and VRQA audits
  • Curriculum review: review the development, validation, and verification of curriculum, training packages, and assessment tools
  • Trainer qualifications: verify qualifications and industry currency of trainers and assessors
  • Quality assurance: ensure quality assurance practices are adhered to for training delivery, assessment outcomes, and student record management
  • Relationship management: manage relationships with key regulatory authorities and funding bodies
  • Training programs: develop and deliver internal training programs to build compliance capability across teaching and administration staff

The successful candidate will possess a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent, along with demonstrated experience managing audits and compliance reviews, verifying trainer qualifications, and extensive knowledge of VET and VCE frameworks.
