About the Role

This is your chance to conduct acute assessments of patients who present to the emergency department or are referred from major hospitals in the area.

  • You will be responsible for providing physical and psychiatric investigation and treatment, participating in video conferenced emergency assessments, working with a multidisciplinary team, and providing specialist psychiatric advice and support to junior medical staff.
Key Responsibilities

As the successful applicant, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in video conferenced emergency assessments to ensure timely and efficient care
  • Provide specialist psychiatric advice and support to junior medical staff to enhance their skills and confidence
