Culinary Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality, wholesome meals during their stay.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Placing orders for non-imprest food supplies
• Preparing and plating meals
• Selecting menu options
• Maintaining quality control of food production to an acceptable standard

You will also be expected to work as part of a multi-skilled team and use your own initiative in setting priorities and decision-making.

In addition, you will maintain a safe and hygienic environment for all patients, staff, and visitors by following established procedures and work practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking bulk meals, as well as preparing and cooking for dietary requirements.

They will also be able to adhere to instructions, established practices, procedures, and guidelines, and work effectively as a team member.
