Goldfields Boilermaker Position

We are seeking skilled boilermakers to fill critical roles in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. These FIFO positions support major mining operations, requiring professionals with extensive experience in mobile equipment maintenance.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be a trade-qualified Boilermaker/Welder (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication)
  • With a minimum 4 years of Mobile Equipment Maintenance experience
  • And demonstrated expertise on large mobile mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, etc.)
  • Additionally, they should have strong shutdown, breakdown, and rebuild experience
  • As well as the ability to work safely, independently, and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural repairs on dump truck trays, buckets, and attachments
  • Crack repairs, wear package fitting, and hardfacing
  • Welding and fabrication to AS/NZS 1554 standards
  • Routine maintenance and breakdown support
  • Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures (JHAs, Take 5s, SWMS)
