About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineering Director to lead our team and provide strategic direction on bridge asset management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience in leading teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective bridge asset management plans, strategies, and policies for the State road network, ensuring alignment with organisational strategic plans and guidelines.
  2. Provide high-level professional advice to senior management and stakeholders on bridge asset management, including the development of asset management systems and the review of asset performance.
  3. Collaborate with other Branch section heads to ensure the most cost-effective distribution of resources within the Branch and develop innovative solutions to complex bridge asset projects and issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A relevant 4-year (minimum) university degree in engineering that is accredited by Engineers Australia; or satisfactory completion of academic qualifications in Engineering that are recognised by Engineers Australia as being an equivalent qualification.
