Job Title: Principal Civil Infrastructure Project Lead

Titan Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Civil Designer to join our client, a well-established engineering, design and project management consultancy based in the Gold Coast.

About the Role:

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil design, focusing on infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading and managing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality designs that meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the civil design process for various infrastructure projects, including roads, subdivisions, drainage, and water infrastructure.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed design documentation, plans, and drawings using software such as 12D, AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and aligned designs with project goals.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers and drafters, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of designs.
  • Evaluate compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $160,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. Our client offers a profit-sharing scheme and employee ownership structure, providing opportunities for growth and career progression.
