This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Android Developer. As a senior team member, you will mentor others and ensure code quality and best practices across the Android development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and design decisions for the Android codebase.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
  • Drive performance, security, and reliability improvements.
  • Collaborate on cross-platform strategies and technical roadmapping.

You will have expert proficiency in Kotlin (and Java) and deep knowledge of the Android SDK, AndroidX libraries, and modern development tools.

A strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) is essential.

Requirements
  1. 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with a strong portfolio of published apps (preferably in health/wellness).
  2. Advanced experience with Jetpack Compose, Material Design, and custom UI/UX solutions.
  3. Proficiency in asynchronous programming (Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, or RxJava) and multithreading.
  4. Solid experience with testing (unit, integration, and UI tests using JUnit, Espresso, or Compose Testing) and test automation.
  5. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise) and version control workflows (Git).
  6. Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
