Grain-free and gluten-free baking requires precision, skill, and a strong work ethic. We are seeking an Assistant Baker to assist our head baker in producing artisan breads, biscuits, pasta, pizza bases, flours, and cakes.

The successful candidate will be able to lift up to 25kg as needed and work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have

  • experience with grain-free and gluten-free baking
  • the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new recipes
  • excellent communication skills

Work hours are Sundays from 10am to 6pm, Mondays from 12 noon to 6pm, Tuesdays from 12 noon to 6pm, and Thursdays from 12 noon to 6pm.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience with grain-free and gluten-free baking
  • Food preparation experience (1 year preferred)
  • Full Driver Licence (preferred)
  • Food Handling Certificate (preferred)
