Structural Engineer Opportunity

TalentWeb is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to collaborate with our client's team and principal engineer. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in structural analysis and design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis, modeling, and documentation of various structures, including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients, providing expert advice and conducting site inspections.
  • Utilize technical expertise to ensure high standards of accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Take ownership of projects, managing all aspects from design through to completion.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an Australian-based structural consultancy
  • Experience working in residential structural engineering design
  • High proficiency in CAD-based drafting software and experience with analytical modeling software
  • Solid understanding of the BCA, NCC, and relevant Australian Standards
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
