We are seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher to join our team, with a strong passion for teaching English and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students. About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position available immediately. The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Secondary English areas as well as strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices
  • A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum and ability to implement quality curriculum programs
  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/carers
  • Proven organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • A commitment to child safety and safeguarding, with a strong focus on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement, and will be registered with the Queensland College of Teachers. They will also be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
