About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our Child Health team in Hume as a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality centre-based and consultative services to children and their families.
- The role requires good initiative and problem-solving skills to work effectively with children, family members, and internal/external service providers.
- The position contributes to the success of DPV Health by delivering a comprehensive Speech Pathology service that meets the needs of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver a centre-based and consultative Speech Pathology service to children up to school age in partnership with families and other professionals.
- Assess and manage children's speech and language skills to implement interventions that address their needs and priorities.
- Ensure the standards of the Speech Pathology service are based on current best practice and relevant evidence-based research.
