Pediatric Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Paediatric Outpatient Clinics. The successful candidate will work alongside paediatricians, registrars and allied health professionals at the Early Parenting Centre.
- This position is part of a new commitment to enhance the provision of general paediatric outpatient services in the region, complementing existing clinics based at University Hospital Geelong and community child health clinics.
About the Role
- Sessional (5 hour) multi-disciplinary general paediatric clinic sessions
- Working at the state-of-the-art Early Parenting Centre
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. They will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide comprehensive medical care to children aged 0-18 years
- To work collaboratively with paediatricians, registrars and allied health professionals to develop individualised treatment plans
- To participate in the management of patients in a mixed adult-paediatric ICU service
