Occupational Therapist for Children's Development

At Vision Australia, we strive to empower individuals who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and intervention strategies to support children in achieving equity and access.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess clients' capacity to independently participate in daily activities, including self-care skills, learning, and education, and play and recreation.
- Develop and implement individual and group OT training programs to enhance independence and participation in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Evaluate and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to facilitate access to activities.
We seek an experienced Occupational Therapist with qualifications and registration with AHPRA. Strong knowledge and skills in working with children and families are essential. Experience in providing client support and OT services is also required.
Benefits- Competitive base salary of $88,000 plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $15,900.
