Dedicated Field Service Technician Required for Underground Mining Position

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Field Service Technician to support our customers in the field of underground mining. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the testing, repair, installation, and commissioning of manufactured equipment and systems on sites.
The key responsibilities of this role include installing and commissioning electrical equipment underground, performing onsite electrical audits, testing, and repairs, providing customer support and issue resolution, and working collaboratively with team members and clients.
- Electrical trade qualifications are required for this position, including experience with high voltage (HV) electrical equipment and systems specific to mining and utilities.
- A deep understanding of explosion protection techniques and knowledge of relevant standards, such as AS3800, AS4871, and AS2290, is also necessary.
- The ideal candidate will have good report writing skills, a task-focused approach, and the ability to make decisions independently.
In addition to technical expertise, the selected candidate must be comfortable with travel and being away from home for extended periods.
Requirements:- Highly skilled electrical technician with experience in HV electrical equipment and systems
- Strong understanding of explosion protection techniques and relevant standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable with frequent travel and remote work
