Job Title: Senior Software Development Expert

We are seeking an exceptional technology leader to drive the technical direction of our end-to-end service journey. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping the system design and implementing best practices for reusable patterns.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and operate solutions using a wide range of technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building robust systems.

As part of the retail technology domain, you will contribute to delivering technology products and services that support the entire service journey, including disputes resolution, deceased estates, and authorities journeys. Our goal is to provide the best possible service when it matters most.

  • Develop and lead complex engineering initiatives, overseeing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Lead the development of strategic programs of work, including proof of concept developments.
  • Utilize strong understanding of core business and technical strategies to deliver optimal business outcomes through technology.
  • Provide thought leadership across projects and delivery teams.
  • Drive strategic practice development within the team or platform.
  • Take ownership of nominated technical assets related to areas of expertise, including roadmaps and technical direction.
  • Mentor and up-skill other engineering teams across different crews.
  • Participate in internal online discussions around software engineering, delivery, and technology.
