Job Title: Cafe Service Assistant

At our vibrant cafe, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic team member to join our kitchen team as a Cafe Service Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards for customer service.
  • Assist in menu development with creative and seasonal ideas.
  • Plan and execute catering for on-site events and functions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the kitchen area.
  • Manage food stock, ordering, and storage efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the cafe team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support daily cafe operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a kitchen assistant in a similar environment.
  • Hands-on experience with catering and event functions.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
