Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic news team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about storytelling and has a keen eye for detail.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Edit news stories to the required standard.
    • Liaise with producers and reporters to achieve high-quality content.
    • Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A background in video editing, either through formal education or practical experience.
  • Previous experience in news and on-air operations is ideal but not essential.
  • Familiarity with editing systems such as Quantel, Adobe, or Avid.
  • A dynamic work ethic, creativity, and fast, accurate editing skills.
