Operations Officer Role

This is a key position in our Post Fulfilment Team, requiring an individual with excellent skills and experience to manage the Lending process from settlement to loan payout and closure.

We are seeking an Operations Officer who can work collaboratively with colleagues to learn and grow in their roles, and model the highest standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to receive, assess and process Release of Security requests to settlement completion and loan payout, across all product lines.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills, as well as relationship management, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills. They will also have a commercially-minded approach and be self-managed, with a proven ability to adapt to new computer/system environments.

The Post Fulfilment team manages the Lending process after settlement has been completed through to loan payout and closure. Communicating directly with borrowers or their agents, we aim to meet release settlement time frames, following policy and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage requests using our core banking, internal file management and associated systems (e.g. PEXA)

- Receive, assess and process Release of Security requests to settlement completion and loan payout, across all product lines

- Collaborate with colleagues to support learning and growth in their roles

**Requirements:**

- Experience and knowledge of release settlements and broader release settlements process would be an advantage
- Ability to work within timeframes for time sensitive matters
- Strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
- Relationship management, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Commercially minded and self-managed
- Strong computer skills and proven ability to adapt to new computer/system environments
- Knowledge of relevant financial industry standards
- Understanding of relevant Acts, Codes and legislation
